How it works

Every scan runs four independent checks on the live site and combines them into one AI score. Each report also includes an SEO audit, the site's links, its robots.txt, sitemap and llms.txt, its technologies and its HTTP headers.

  1. Platform fingerprinting

Identifies 65+ AI builders and platforms (Lovable, v0, Bolt, Rork, Base44, Emergent, Blink, Manus, Google AI Studio…) and AI coding agents such as Cursor and Claude Code.

  2. Code forensics

Finds boilerplate, placeholder assets, LLM-style comments and the default component stack of AI code generators.

  3. Content analysis

Measures AI-typical phrasing, chatbot leftovers, placeholder names, em-dash density and sentence burstiness.

  4. Image provenance

Reads C2PA content credentials, IPTC AI flags, Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI parameters and AI image hosts.

Reading the score

AI likelihood, 0–100%
  • No AI Detected 0–15%

We found no meaningful signs of AI generation. The site appears to be human-made.

  • AI-Assisted 16–69%

AI was likely used for some parts of the site, such as the text, images or code, but not everything.

  • AI-Generated 70–100%

The site appears to have been generated end-to-end by an AI tool: layout, code and copy.

Frequently asked questions

How does WebSnipr detect AI-built websites?

It inspects the site's platform, code, written content and image metadata for fingerprints that AI website builders, code generators and chatbots leave behind, then combines them into a score.

Can it tell if a site was made with Lovable, v0, Bolt or Rork?

Yes. It recognises 65+ AI website and app builders and platforms by their template code, default files, meta tags and hosting domains, and spots AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot and others) when their instruction files are published.

Is the result 100% accurate?

No AI detector is. The scanner is deliberately strict, so even a few AI signals mark a site as AI-Assisted. Every report shows its confidence level and the exact evidence it found, so you can judge for yourself.

Is it free to use?

Yes, you can scan any public website for free.
